Beloved Retreat was a seasonal community event held on January 23–24 for the Timothy Young Adult Community at Emmanuel Church in Philadelphia. The theme, “Beloved,” was inspired by 1 John 4:7 and centered on the message of love—encouraging participants to both receive and share love with others.
To visually communicate this idea, I developed a pink color palette and used heart motifs as the central graphic element. The visual identity was designed as a cohesive branding system that could be applied across multiple materials. Inspiration also came from the polished and expressive album cover aesthetics of the K-pop group IVE.
The final deliverables included a 13×19-inch promotional poster, Instagram graphics, name tags, a note-taking booklet, a sweatshirt design, and a large 3D word installation used for display and group photos during the event. A key conceptual element was word rephrasing: the booklet cover reads “Beloved,” while the back reads “Be Love,” reflecting the retreat’s message that those who are loved are also called to share love with others.

Ensemble Arts Philly is a Philadelphia-based performing arts organization that presents a wide range of performances, including Broadway, theater, music, dance, and comedy. This rebrand concept explores how visual identity can reflect the diversity and energy of the organization.
The work includes a mailer cover, a three-poster performance series, promotional motion graphics, and a website design. Because Ensemble Arts presents many different genres, the visual system uses three different typefaces to create a typographic collage, representing multiple artistic voices coming together as an ensemble.

Pig Iron Theatre Company is an interdisciplinary ensemble founded in 1995, known for creating original performance works that blend theater, movement, and experimental storytelling. This rebrand concept develops a cohesive visual identity that reflects the company’s bold and unconventional approach to performance.
The system includes a logo, a three-poster performance series, promotional motion graphics, a website design, business cards, and banners. Red was maintained as the primary brand color alongside black and white, while light blue, pink, and yellow were introduced through pattern variations in print materials.
The logo merges the letters P and I to form a unified mark, visually representing the name Pig Iron. Poster imagery was created through hand-cut collage elements that were scanned, photographed, and vectorized, then combined with Gaussian and radial blur effects to create dynamic compositions. The motion graphic animates bouncing circular forms that eventually assemble into the Pig Iron logo, while the website emphasizes performance posters and information as the primary entry point for visitors.

ReAnimator Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee company based in Philadelphia. This redesign explores a visual identity that reflects the meaning and energy behind the brand name.
The central concept is inspired by the idea of being “reanimated,” or gaining new life. Spotlights emerging from a coffee mug symbolize energy, awakening, and the revitalizing experience of coffee. A textured typeface was used to evoke the tactile quality of roasted coffee beans, paired with a warm, coffee-bean–inspired color palette.
The identity extends across multiple brand touchpoints. While the original website presented information clearly, it lacked warmth and personality. The redesigned system introduces organic shapes and warmer tones to create a more inviting and lively visual experience, while maintaining consistency with the overall brand identity.
